About Us

Africa Mobile Networks (AMN) builds, owns, and operates mobile network infrastructure to provide telecommunications services to rural and previously unconnected communities across Sub-Saharan Africa. Using a "Network-as-as-Service" (NaaS) model, they allow major mobile operators to expand their coverage into remote areas without requiring those operators to invest in their own hardware or take an operational risks. Their sites are typically solar- powered and utilise advanced satellite technology, including partnerships with Starlink and SES, to provide 2G, 3G, and 4G connectivity. Currently operating over 5000 base stations providing critical connectivity to more than 15 million people across Sub-Saharan Africa. AMN aims to bridge the digital divide and eventually cover nearly every country in Sub-Saharan Africa.
